345th Kamayan Para Sa Kalikasan Forum

The Local Government Code grants local government units the right to plan and manage identified communal forests. Under Community-Based Forest Management Program, these are forest areas where a production-sharing agreement for 25 years and renewable for another 25 years between the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and community organizations in the vicinity shall provide both parties the capacity to co-develop, co-utilize and co-manage them.
